The Sony Xperia Z Android smartphone will be available early on February 21st at its store in Berlin, Germany. Thus far, that’s the only store that is known to be stocking the Xperia Z early and it could be that it will be the only place to snag it prior to its arrival later on in the month.
Sony confirmed the news through its Facebook page, saying that the device will be available early on February 21st at its store in Berlin, Germany. We presume February the 21st will be the same date for the rest of Europe as well, the device recently went up for pre-order with various mobile carriers in the UK.
Basically, Sony Mobile has said that the Xperia Z will be available from the Sony Store in Berlin beginning on February 21. We expect to hear more release details soon and expect the handset to be available on a more widespread basis either on the 21st, or sometime soon thereafter. Of course, we need the word from Sony.
In case you forgot, Xperia Z is the Sony’s first smartphone underpinned by a quad-core processor.
