EA and PopCap have released Plants vs. Zombies 2 for Android users worldwide. The new version is virtually identical to the iOS game released this summer, letting players fend off the undead hordes on both phones and tablets.
The game is available for free from the Google Play Store. The game uses microtransactions to sustain itself. There has been no word from PopCap on whether the game is making its way to PC yet, which is a bit strange considering the fact that the franchise was born on the PC.
